Then another one. Then another one.
Our son Asher was a pretty normal baby — which means he spit up. A lot. Every feeding meant another shirt change for whoever was holding him.
Then we noticed what the nurses at the hospital were doing: they’d take those striped blue blankets and drape them loosely around your neck like a big bandana. It worked. We started doing it too.

Except it wasn’t quite solved.
The hospital blanket fabric soaked right through — not absorbent enough for the job. The knot we’d tie behind our neck kept coming undone the second we moved. And it just wasn’t quite big enough to cover everything.
So we built something better. Double-layer organic muslin that actually absorbs. A snap button closure that stays put. Wide enough to give you full coverage without the fidgeting.
Now with our daughter Arabella at the same stage — normal, everyday baby spit-up — the Burp Bandana gets just as much use the second time around. Because it turns out every baby does this. You just need the right thing around your neck.

What we believe
We believe new parents deserve better than a tiny cloth on their shoulder and a prayer. Burp Bandana is simple, practical gear for the beautiful mess that is parenthood.
Built by a dad. Tested on real spit-up. A lot of it.
