Question 1

Isn't this just a big bib?

Accepted Answer

Yes. That's the point. The tiny ones don't work. This one does.

Question 2

Is it really for adults?

Accepted Answer

Yep. You wear it, not the baby. (Though we're working on a baby version too.)

Question 3

Will it fit me?

Accepted Answer

One size fits most adults. The button closure adjusts to fit a range of neck sizes, and it's been tested on frames from 5'0" to 6'0".

Question 4

How do I wash it?

Accepted Answer

Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle. Tumble dry low or hang dry. Don't bleach. It gets softer with every wash.

Question 5

How is this different from a regular burp cloth?

Accepted Answer

Coverage. A standard burp cloth is about 10" x 15". Burp Bandana is 34" wide — roughly 8x the surface area — and it stays where you put it instead of sliding off your shoulder.

Question 6

Why buttons instead of velcro?

Accepted Answer

Velcro snags fabric, wears out in the wash, and scratches baby's skin. Buttons are quieter, last longer, and let you adjust the fit.

Question 7

Can I use it while breastfeeding?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely. Drape it over your shoulder and it covers your entire side. Great for catching unexpected letdowns too.
